Meets/shows
Meets/shows
Hi, are there any shows happening this year that would be good to take ERA to?
Re: Meets/shows
If you can provide me with an accurate 4 month weather forecast............ because I try not to take mine out in the rain!
However should the sun be shining the first obvious one in the south is:
National Mini Cooper Day held at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, in the heart of the New Forest on
Sunday 14th June 2015

On Sunday 7th July is the new BMC and Leyland show which incorporates the old Mini show:

I shall be joining the Cowley Convoyers to travel to the show. They are a very friendly bunch and it is great fun starting from the (BMW) Mini plant at Cowley - to register visit here:

Should you be tempted to go to unfamiliar territory in your ERA points to consider are:
Venues where access is via a gravel track with pot holes and a ridge up the centre!
Venues where the showground is on grass..... nice cut and rolled parkland is no problem, but meadow like areas where the grass is 6 - 8 inches(15cm - 20cm) will mask bumps and pot holes that you will not see and WILL result in a fractured bodykit as I know to my cost!
Now don't be put off let's get these ERAs out there for people to see!
