Riviera Run 2-4th May 2009

Hiya,

Just wondered if anyone else is doing the Riviera run this yeah from Reading services to Newquay Cornwall. Ive just booked accomodation and tickets for myself and father in law who will be taking his mayfair on the run. Ive not done the run for a few years but it always used to be good fun with alot of driving involved.

Well it was a great weekend and by the looks of it I was the only ERA. Shame they didnt have an ERA catergory in the show and shine and I would have won! The owner of R1012 came over for a chat a couple of times, its a shame he could'nt bring along his ERA.

Great video Keith - I did the trip to Newquay three years ago in my Mini 40 JCW which I had at the time but we went down on the Friday and stopped off-site at a flat in Newquay so missed the convoy down but the run on the Sunday afternoon round the twisty lanes of Cornwall was great fun.
