These are the other photos I have. If you need any more I will dig the grill out of storage and take a few.

Last one.
Its screwed to the grill with self tapping screws.
It's a pain only being able to post 3 photos at a time.

the pics are excellent.
i can see exactly where it sits.
I'll have to be careful with self tappers. the plastic is so brittle.

Thanks again,

Darren

Header title unfortunately seems to add Air scoop for cooler with Rear washer Jet. Still Further to previous postings: The correct part number for the Metro and ERA Rear Wash Jet is GWW 841.
Rimmer have this item in stock, under this number,at £10.71.Plus Vat etc.
In consequence I have ordered a EAM9332 to compare, as these are only £1.30 plus VAT and shipping as posted by 'Prop'
I know that the first item is correct as I bought one when they were available from Rover, but will let you know if the second item is the same.

Hi all.
Further to my earlier posting on Rear Wash Jets, I ordered three of these items from Messrs Rimmer Bros. The folloing copy of our correspondence should clarify the problems I have had and their response!

Dear Sir or Madam
I received this morning my order for Quantity 3 of Part number EAM9332
My Invoice Number is XXXX18: Customer Number is: XXX
This was my first order with you and was very impressed with your speed of dispatch.
Unfortunately all three identical items were faulty on receipt. I can repair them, but ask you to check any remaining stock, located at Bin FA07AE01.
The plastic housing around the brass nozzle is cracked on all 3 items. It looks like a stress crack and travels from the nozzle to the outer edge. In addition each nozzle was corroded green.
I will fill the crack with suitable filler as at the offer price on these items it is not worth the cost of returning them. However, please, please check the remaining stock as I am sure I have not been unlucky on all 3 items!
May I also advise you that these items are identical to Part Number GWW841, which were originally fitted to the Rover Metro and ERA Mini Turbo as rear window washer jets. This latter number is listed as in stock, but much more expensive.
Please acknowledge receipt of this e-mail and inform me of the result of your investigation of this matter.
Best regards.

Toby Green [toby.green@rimmerbros.co.uk]
Thank you for your e-mail.
I am sorry to learn of the condition of the washer jets.
Unfortunately, having inspected the stock, it appears that all of the housings have suffered age hardening and shrinkage and all are cracked to some degree.
I am sorry that we cannot offer suitable replacements. I have arranged for the refund of the invoice for you. I hope the repairs prove successful.
Kind regards

Toby Green

I have found a good supplier of these jets EAM9332. I ordered one and it came in perfect condition brand new £1.82 +vat + delivery a little better than £8.96 from Rimmers. I see that they still have the faulty ones listed for sale despite them being made aware of the problem. Shame on them.

Excellent find, and they are only just down the road from me.
Could get another 3 spares for the price of the standard (£6.77) postage though.
I think i will pick up a few and keep them in the car so if if i bump in to someone at a show who wants one i will have one with me.
