Paint Work - Body Kit refurb

Post by Jezza » Mon Oct 12, 2009 8:32 am

Hi Guys,

I need to get my bodykit refurbished due to several kerbings over the past year causung some unsightly cracks to the front quarter drivers side of the kit.

I am being advised that the bodykit is 'bonded' to the car and will probably need to be repaired and sprayed in situ - is this correct?

I also need to find out what the correct Paint Code for the BRG paint for the car is?

Can anyone help?

Have done a quick Internet search and the paint code would appear to be HNA (VIN Code) which is also known as BLVC617 - can anyone confirm that this sounds correct?

The body kit is not bonded to the car it is riveted on and comes off in sections. The front part split in the middle of the grille and extending around each front corner including the arches and join with the rear sections by the door shuts.
I've just bought a spray gun so I can do mine over the winter.
