BAC M30 Mini raffle

Post by CampFreddie » Fri Jan 16, 2009 12:19 pm

Sorry, I don't want to clog this forum up with non-ERA news but this is quite interesting:

The Charity "Kids Company" apparently has a BAC M30. They're currently raffling it:

I've never been too sure about the looks of the M30 (the ERA just looks so much better) but the interior's stunning, it's as rare as a unicorn and that supercharger could be fun! Plus it used to be owned by Bernie Ecclestone:

Although it's slightly odd as it was originally sold at auction in 2007:

So I wonder what happened to it in the intervening year or so...

A 1 in 8000 chance for £2.50 cant be bad so I bought a couple of tickets. I have to agree im glad the ERA made it into production rather than the M30, it's turly ugly inside and out.

Hi.....new to this site.

Seen this before, without the supercharger its not really an M30 is it? ( I wonder why it was taken off?) and trying to track down an original unit could be a challenge....a good project for someone though, as the rest of the car looks in very good condition.

I missed that.
