I know it's not an ERA but it could possibly be the very last chance to buy a new Classic Mini.
The question is: if you had £25,000 to spend on a car, would you buy one?

I'm a bit torn. I would love to buy a new classic Mini and W&P standards are generally pretty high but I can't really see anything that particularly stands out from the spec. Am I missing something?
not that I HAVE £25k to spend anyway...

Update: Photos of the first finished car below.
Interior's very nice but, as far as I can tell, other than that it's pretty much standard apart from those God Awful wheels. I can see how it'd cost £25k to build a new mini from scratch on 09 plates and if I had a big lottery win I'd think about buying one.
...But only if I could have different wheels.

Hi there.
I saw it unveiled too, but was a little disapointed.
It looks completely standard except the chromed wheels and typically wood and picket dash.
I personally would have expected something special with the paint. Maybe a gold roof as it is the golden aniversary, or a bit of gold flake or even a perlecent or flip finish
From the outside it looked like any other mini produced between 96 & 00.
Saying that, with a big lotto win i would still park one in the corner of my garage.

be interesting to see how they register them. 25K is way over top 15 would still be very optomistic...
Nice dash but we still have nicer.....

I was expecting something special when they first started making this car but I have to say it's just a big anti climax for me. I honestly dont think I like anything about the car and those wheels just shout CHAV at you. Ive never really been a fan of W&P specials so I guess I have a slightly biased opinion in the first place. Shame its got a bog standard asthmatic twin point too.
