Re: Restoration R1028

Hi Martin and All. Regarding the washer bottle - I have no idea. Not a serious problem, however as cannot be seen when boot covers are fitted. I have no drawing pertaining to the fuel tank, as again outsourced, but have attched a drawing of the connections. I suggest you try to see an original tank....

Re: Restoration R1028

Hi Martin The track rod ends are Triumph Dolomite or Herald as I recall. I have almost a full set of the drawings used by ERA to do the conversion from City to ERA. I was a bit bothered about copyright originaly, but I assume that has lapsed with the company. Not too sure about this. Chris and I acq...

Re: Restoration R1028

Hi.
I have attached a drawing of the brake backplate mofification. A jig is called up but I am sure that you can work its exact position. I confirm the details supplied re brake cylinders in my earlier posting.
best regards

Re: R1103 In Austria

Hi all. Long time since I last posted! This car, R1103, was previously registered as J7 ERA and there is a link to an earlier photo on the 'Mini Turbo Register' page, on the left. It appears to be the last car produced for the UK market and was sold to Jack Knights Development. I remember it bing so...

Re: 1991 black ERA on ebay.

For completeness I attach drawing for Japan model boot lid badges: The dimensions are now: top bar of 'E' is 256mm from top edge of boot and right edge of 'E' is 125mm from right hand side. Note that Rover badge on left has no measurement position given, It looks as if it is aligned in centre of num...

Re: 1991 black ERA on ebay.

According to the ERA production drawing,(MSK4041A) shown below, the correct location for the ERA badge on Boot lid is as follows:- The centre bar of the letter 'E' is exactly 100mm from the top edge of the boot and the centre point of the same bar in the letter 'E' is 80mm from the left edge. The le...

Re: Boost Modulator solenoid/valve

Hi all. Just been browsing and found this topic. The 'air stone' on the Boost Modulator was never listed as a spare AFAIK. Just in case you ever find a complete valve assy., at an auto jumble etc., the Rover part number was AUU 1045. It can be found on fiche page K07 under Technical. Identical to th...

Re: R1067 Winter workshop

Hi all, Long time since I posted. Removed offside body kit last summer due to usual cracking. Bought non-complient base coat and final gloss before it became unavailable, but told it was better than new, water based 'conforming' version. Cut out all visible cracks down to matting with dremel and the...

IMM/Mini 50 Gathering 2009 and Removing Dash

Hi all. Nice to meet so many of you (12 cars) last Saturday at the IMM2009/Mini50 gathering. Firstly, I think all those who attended should offer Darren our sincere thanks for all the hard work in organising us and for purchasing the ERA Banner for use at future events. We made our contribution towa...
