I am still not happy with the oil temperature. Normal running too cool, stood in traffic oil temp good but on a very hot day with no movement the water temp too hot heading for overheating. Now I know the oil thermostat won't help overheating when stood in traffic but it should help in normal runnin...

I have fitted an oil temperature sensor to the sump and another gauge to check the temp of the original and the temps read the same so there is nothing wrong with the original set up. I now need to work on reducing the warm up time.

Cheers arrian. Not sure what thermostat I have in at the moment I thought I had put an 88 degree in but not 100% sure. I have done a lot of messing with it over the last year. Old age and too much beer taking its toll on the brain cells.

Could be a number of things. for turbo queries the guys who know everything there is to know are http://www.turbominis.co.uk/. They are realy good they know turbos.
