Auxiliary Radiator Hose

Post by r1076 » Mon Apr 21, 2014 6:15 am

Hello,

does someone has one as a spare? For Sale?

Or my second idea was to let it remanufacture by Viper Performance. But they would need one to copy.
Any interest in this?

Hi I've just imported an ERA Turbo from Japan and I need to replace all of the hoses on the car.

I see Viper Performance has a kit for the Mini...

What hoses are unique to the ERA? I would be keen to buy a remanufactured item. Let us know how you get on.

Most of them are special to the ERA and can not easily be replace with straight hose.

The one mentioned - the upper hose from the auxillary radiator to the sandwich plate has one bend plus a dogleg

The lower hose from the auxillary radiator to the main radiator has one quite tight elbow.

The bottom hose is standard mini

The top hose is available as an ERA part number from Minisport but is the same as the 1275 Mini item

The pipes to the heated inlet manifold are fairly easy.

So to sum up it is the pipes to and from the auxillary radiator which are the most difficult - If anyone wants to club together to have a few made I would be happy to join in

If the Japan version using the same pipe as UK version, definitely would be nice to join and place order together.
