i'll be there from Friday afternoon.
The car is booked in for a rolling road on the 6th so i hope it doesn't blow up.
I've also got the trailer ready for its first outing after all the repairs and the colour change.

We're there on the Sunday as well to see if I can beat my previous best in a Mini (17.2 secs in a Cooper with ex-race 1293).

Hi Darren, has it been 3 years? remember it well with the scorching hot weather! Kameo and I are hoping to come down on the Sunday with are new baby girl, Will not be in the era as it is still under going body and engine work from my last trip to the Nurburgring, i'm hoping to drive it down to the imm in August though!

The gearbox broke about 50 miles away from the Nurburgring! Got towed to our campsite by a fellow mini owner (Purple Rob!) Had to leave the car in Germany for 2 weeks till we sorted the recovery out! When i eventually got the car home and seperated gearbox from engine found the main layshaft bearing had collapsed and worn the layshaft! As the car was going to be off the road for awhile i decided to replace some of the rusty parts i.e. complete front end, do repairs to bodykit and general tidy up for the IMM 2009! But as money and work got short had to cut back! Now that our new baby has arrived i have very little time to spend with the mini! Friends are helping me to get it back on the road!
