IMM 2009 - Longbrige 7-9 AUGUST 2009.
IMM 2009 - Longbrige 7-9 AUGUST 2009.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR DIARY FREE FOR 7-9 AUGUST 2009.
This is the IMM & 50th Anniversary of the Mini and it is to be held at Longbridge.
It is also the 20th Anniversary of the ERA Mini Turbo.
I want to make this a major show for the ERA and would hope to beat the record we made at Santapod last year. My Goal is a minimum of 15No ERA's to attend.

Hi Darren
Looking at what is going on on other forums, things are moving and shaking to jockey for position already, I have asked for some help in being put forward for a car display position hopefully near the RSP's and Inno's (nice grills).
Has anyone registered on the IMM2009 site as yet?
Best to start a list of who wants to go to start ball rolling.

Hi Paul.
ok. lets get the ball rolling. i'm going so thats 3 cars.
is the space you are asking for for the era's or is this for your club?
if it is for your club i will get in touch and book an era stand space.
Regards

Re: IMM 2009 - Longbrige 7-10 AUGUST 2009.
Hi All
I have been in touch with the organisers of the IMM / Mini 50 show and this is what they have told me.
There are no large club stands as such for the show days (Sat/Sun).
what they are allowing is 3 cars and 1 gazibo/tent for each club.
What we can have though is a special display stand of 20 ERA's.
There are a few special display stands i.e. 59's, estates, etc which are already booked.
Unfortunately these stands are only available to people attending the IMM not just the Sat or Sun day tickets, so to create a stand of 20 cars we all need to book full imm passes.
http://www.imm2009.com/imm/index.php?op ... &Itemid=55
(prices are shown on the booking forms on the above site.
Adult passes are £55 ea
Child 6-12yrs are £25ea
Under 6 are free
(a £3.00 booking fee is also required)
They are opening the gates from the Wednesday 5/8/09 for early arrivals so you could make a long break if you wanted.
prices for show only visitors are £15 sat / £12 Sun.
i know this is quite an expensive show, so can you let me know if you are still intrested.
hope to hear from you all soon
Regards
Darren

Is anyone interested in the imm?
I will still be going what ever happens but if i get no more interest by early feb i will see about organising a stand at another show instead.

Re: IMM 2009 - Longbrige 7-9 AUGUST 2009.
I think it will be a great show if we can make it happen Darren.
Everyone needs to get back to Darren ASAP, so that we can make the goal of 20 cars and get a centrepiece stand at the show.
