ERA Mini Meeting 2008.

Happy new year to you all.

Now we are into the new year, i think it is time to organize another major get together.

I am thinking of Gaydon Mini Festival organized by miniworld magazine.

5 & 6th of July.

As you can see from the dates it is a two day event with camping for anyone feeling lucky regardng the good old British weather.

i am hoping that early summer might be a better bet for some nice weather.

Anyone interested please let me know as soon as possible so i can get things moving.

16 March - Malvern Mini Show, Worcester
11 May - Himley Hall, Dudley
12&13 July -British Mini Showdown, Avon Park - another camping weekend.
7 Sep - British Mini Day, Catton Hall, Derbyshire.
14 Sep - National Mini Show, Stanford Hall, Lutterworth.
27 sep - Miniworld Action Day, Castle Combe.
if there are any of the above that you might want to go to let me know.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR DIARY FREE FOR 7-9 AUGUST 2009.
This is the IMM & 50th Anniversary of the Mini and it is to be held at Longbridge.
It is also the 20th Anniversary of the ERA Mini Turbo.
I want to make this a major show for the ERA and would hope to beat the record we made at santapod last year. My Goal is a minimum of 15No ERA's to attend.

Not me. i dare not travel too far until i am sure mine is a bit more reliable.
i am worried that if it breaks down too far away then it will have to go on the back of a truck and i worry about the arch kit. i will feel a bit better when i have made the towing hitch to go behind the number plate.

Seriously considering Going to IMM.

Gaydon sounds good, need to sort some method of watching the British Grand Prix though as its on that weekend though.

Stanford I always go to, maybe MITP too not sure yet though will see.

Hi Paul.
good to hear you are interested in some of the shows i have mentioned.
I will see if i can get a tv for gaydon. i will keep you informed.
