Unfortunately due to good weather I thought I'd better make an attempt at putting all the carpet and other bits back after the new floor was done, but of course I started by taking more out. Hopefully cured some very long term rattles by taking the heater apart and replacing what was left of the foam bits on the flap. For years I've had to keep the slider out of the fully off position for the noise would drive me up the wall.

plus today's bodge... quite suprising what you can repair with a bit cut out of an old tin tray

speaking of bodges, tomorrow I'll be sharing more photos of other stuff I've taken care of today continuing the engine saga, just to give you a taster, three words - "flywheel housing" and "grinder"
