Hi I'm importing a Mini ERA Mini from Japan and I would like to keep it as original as possible.

I've noticed that most of the Japanese models have the standard Rover badge on the bonnet instead of the gold/black one.

Does anyone know what badge the Japanese ERAs originally came with?

I suspect that only the British ones had the gold/black badge but I could be wrong?

From what I understand, earlier RJ version uses bonnet badge with "turbo" logo, and later version uses "Rover" logo badge. A friend of mine also imported an earlier edition Japan version, besides the bonnet badge, his rpm gauge has no yellow / red lines.

For those who are interested Paul sent me a message saying the change of badge from gold/black to the Rover Viking ship was made on RJ1269 onwards.
