Re Cornbury

Those of us who are still going - what about meeting up somewhere en route in the morning and convoying into the show? Not so easy for Keith as he is coming up from the South but ourselves, Paul and Darren are all coming down from the West Midlands.

Assuming you are not planning an overnight camp of course?

My route would normally go via warwick, and maybe Kenilworth.
Is there somewhere on that stretch that would be a good meeting place for you & Paul?

I'm happy to meet up as it would be nice to have an ERA convoy

At the moment it will be just the 4 of us on the day, but i'll keep my fingers crossed for another couple.

Either would be fine for us but parking in Kenilworth is going to be easier generally than in Warwick.

What about the car park in Kenilworth on Bridge Street (near Abbey Fields Park) - I think this is either free or something like 20p for up to 30 mins?

I would say it is about an hour and a quarter from Kenilworth to Charlbury so something like 7.45am for 8am depart should give us plenty of time?

Car has developed a rather debilitating misfire under any sort of load as of Sunday - it has done this once before and mysteriously righted itself so I am hopeful it will be fine when I next try it Saturday. I have changed the plugs just in case and keeping fingers croseed OK for Sunday's jaunt to Cornbury.

I'll keep my fingers crossed too.

I'm hoping my clutch will be ok. If i accelerate hard when i change from 2nd to 3rd it sometimes slips.

Not sure if the pressure plate is strong enough or if my primary gear oil seal is leaking a little.

I'm sure everything will be ok for both of us on sunday

no amount of finger crossing is going to see me there I'm afraid. Mine is still at the body shop. It is expected to be shipped back to my garage for fitting out later this week, but there's no way it's going to be ready for this weekend
